So much has happened! In short, I got my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Reinhardt University in June.
I was offered an Assistant Professor of English position at a community college a few days ago. The job is for fall semester. I said ‘yes’ of course. So let’s manifest it for the rest of the school year and beyond! I am over the moon happy about the job. I worked so hard for this very moment.
I’m going to redesign this blog into a website and re-release my first novel on Kindle. Working on another novel with a friend. Would love to write a smoothie book because I’ve made smoothies for twenty years. I know a thing or two!
Still working hard on novel #2. That was the whole point of going to grad school. Having mentors and learning more about voice, image, place, story, and literary criticism has improved my writing tremendously.
Look for the big change late this year or early 2024. Onward and upward!
