Albert Einstein once said, “A problem cannot be solved in the same consciousness in which it was created.” In other words, whatever beliefs that got you into your “mess” must be changed so you can get out of it.
“Life can only be found in the present moment. When you look at the beautiful blue sky, where is it? In the present moment.
In order to not miss the beautiful blue sky, you have to go back to the present moment. Because it is in that moment that you get in touch with the beautiful blue sky, the beautiful rivers, the beautiful trees…
Everything wonderful, everything refreshing, happens in the present moment. Therefore, running to the future, or getting lost in the past, you miss life. Breathing in and out gets you back to the present moment where you have an appointment with life.”
Remain guided by God in all that you do. Let every action you perform be for the glory of God. As you serve God, you are serving other people. If you ever question what move to make in life, ask, “What would God do?” God would do the highest, grandest, happiest, most joyous thing.
Two work-related concussions fourteen months apart is enough to get anyone thinking, “Hmmmmm…..what is the Universe trying to tell me?” Clearly I need to listen. I hit my head on Friday and I’m home for now. I am totally open to lessons today. I am fortunate to have people around me who all said, “Sometimes the Universe literally bonks us in the head to wake us up and pay attention. What is going on with you?”
I have some clues and I am working on them. Let me know how the Universe bonked you on the head to wake you up.
